No wonder “Venita Rhea’s” have been successful restaurateurs for 36 years. “if you don’t see what you want on the menu, or if you have a special dietary need, just tell us and we’ll make it happen,” Ralph says. This spirit infuses all the personnel at Venita Rhea’s, which was named after Randy Peters beloved aunt.
There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, although with one wall entirely in windows, the restaurant has an airy, outdoor feel. Brick work, checkered table cloths and three murals depicting a French countryside add to the festive ambiance.
We pride ourselves on serving large portions of fresh, quality food. “I spend more money on produce than on meat,” Ralph says. However, he has little need to spend money on advertising. “It’s all by word of mouth.” There’s no age set for the ten percent discount offered seniors. “Customers just tell me if they’re seniors,” Ralph explained..
Twelve specials are offered daily at both breakfast and lunch.
Our server’s recitation of desserts so tantalized us that we were ‘forced’ to try the bread pudding and berry cobbler. Mmmmm…
One thing is certain…you won’t leave Venita Rhea’s hungry. The portions are generous, the food is great and the service is outstanding. Special event catering banquets also available. They’ll be glad to help you plan your next event.
